Why isn't anyone talking about the lack of funding in the US for the arts?
Symphonies, and other arts organization, are closing all over the country. It is important to note that in stark contrast to other professionals, the artist enjoys neither recognition nor financial support on anything resembling the scale of their contribution to society.
