I wonder if historians and architects will someday look back and decry the defacing of the original Lincoln Center. It looks great to contemporary eyes but since it's such a radical redesign, will it someday seem like good intentions gone overboard?
Why wasn't the auditorium reconfigured to add a center aisle?
