Texas-born country rockers the Old 97's recently released their eighth studio album, “The Grand Theatre Volume One.” Led by prolific songwriter and frontman Rhett Miller, the group will release a second batch of material in 2011. They join us to play live in our studio.

And there was the Carl Perkins-Bob Dylan version of "Champaign, Illinois," which I believe appeared on one of Carl's records.

I highly recommend that your listeners catch an Old 97s show. These boys are the real deal, and will rock your socks off. My fave band since NRBQ broke up.
