It’s been seven years since Sarah McLachlan released her last studio album and eleven years since Lilith Fair traversed the country, spreading good music, championing worthy causes, and celebrating women everywhere.
Despite this lengthy hiatus, it’s hard to forget this Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and the music festival that she co-founded and spearheaded back in 1997. Today, Sarah McLachlan discusses the finer details of this summer’s Lilith Fair tour and she plays songs from her upcoming album, Laws of Illusion, live in the studio.

I have been waiting for this a long time... and the wait is worth it... Thank you Sarah, for another great and beautiful album... you rock girl!
Sarah, Your voice is that of an Angel, so beautiful and sweet, thank you for who you are and what you do, good luck in your new journey....
Man o Manoshevitz can this chick sing. I don't remember the last time I heard this kind of quality. It's like instantaneous studio recording. When you hear this you're like everything out there today sucks. Ah the day Z100 came around and killed out all the real artists... what a shame.
i don't care how corny this may sound. i think this woman projects a beauty of spirit and soul in her art and life that is otherworldly. keep on keeping on sarah.
