Saw Buddy Guy open for Led Zeppelin at the (NYS) Pavilion, August 1969, first live show ever for me. He was very energetic (for what I thought was an old blues hand, sorry, Buddy.) But the acoustics stank there, sight lines were terrible, my girlfriend insisted on watching perched on my shoulders....had a great time, one of the most influential experiences ever.
