British rock group Wild Beasts have a thing for the tormented torch song - and their third album, called “Smother,” delivers faithfully. The new release from the Mercury prize nominees features minimalist electronic beats and singer Hayden Thorpe’s vocalizing, which ranges from falsetto to growl. The band joins us in studio to perform live.

There are two main vocalists, Hayden Thorpe and Tom Fleming. Both are great, but I prefer the sound of Tom Fleming.
Reminds me of Antony and the Johnsons mixed with Temper Trap
