These girls are so many light years ahead of what is rock today. On can say Nina sounds like ...Buffy St.Marie...Siousxie...Nina Hagen...Patsy and so on. When it's all said and done she sounds like Nina Diaz and it brings great joy to old 'though they were done with rock' guys like myself. Thank you.

Barent, In future, please sign as Bonehead. And if you want to develop a sense of humor, listen to The Smiths -- they're hilarious! -- particularly their song "Girlfriend in a Coma." Maybe after that you'll also lose your brackets, bad commas and all-lowercase muttering.

But while we're on the subject, Girls in a Coma: Why not Girlfriend in a Coma as your band name???? It's got a better rhythm and ring, and it more immediately evokes the song.

john, i think it's a latino thing, to welcome people from different age ranges[sometimes including family]. look at salsa bands, and latin jazz folk, who often have multi-generations within a single group[band].

I can hear The Smiths influence, yet at times Nina's vocals remind me of Erika Wennerstrom from Heartless Bastards. But now that I'm hearing the second song - I hear Siouxsie Sioux of Siouxsie and the Banshees.
