As a Fordham graduate who came to NYC in 1969 to attend school, WNEW was the greatest influence on the formation of my musical taste. In the summer and fall of 1989 I had the privilege of joining a talented team of students and alum in creating the City Folk format for WFUV (and have the airchecks to prove it!). John, you are keeping the flame burning and keeping public radio interesting and alive. Pete is somewhere in the ether, bringing joy and knowledge to all.
