"Rumours" tour promo photo

Fleetwood Mac is back -- again. The 1970's pop act just announced a new tour, its first in three years. But that's not so unusual for a legacy act. What's more unusual is the recent crop of Fleetwood Mac cover songs by younger bands.

This summer saw the release of Just Tell Me That You Want Me, a compilation featuring Fleetwood Mac reinterpretations by groups like Best Coast and MGMT. And now, Mojo Magazine's January 2013 issue comes with its own tribute record, this time devoted to the 1977 album Rumours. This cover album includes acts like Julia Holter, Liars, and Yeasayer. KCRW DJ Anne Litt has been following this trend, and she joins us to discuss Fleetwood Mac's revival.
