The London-based band Micachu and the Shapes - led by multi-instrumentalist, singer and composer Mica Levi - made an indie rock splash in 2009 with their debut album, "Jewellery." The group's follow-up, called "Never," comes out in July - and today, we get a preview.

I dig that! Very unique audio creativity y'all. And John, I should also try to learn the gamelan, heard you talking about that a few months ago. I think I have a bootleg (yes, bad me, but it was offered and I didn't know where else to get it) of the song you played that an old roommate who had lived in Athens (Normaltown, actually) was rumored to have snagged from Stipe. Gamelan is a haunting sound, I agree. So is yours, Micachu!
