Wrapping up our week-long series on dance, we look today at some of the most recent dance crazes to arrive via hip-hop, from the Dougie to the Cat Daddy. To help school us in the latest moves, we’re joined by New York-based dancer and choreographer Joey Dowling, as well as California-based hip hop dancer Brice Johnson, who teaches the masses about the latest street dance crazes via YouTube under the alias "Professor Lock." Plus, we’ll take your calls about the various dance crazes you’ve lived through over the years.

We learned Friday afternoon that Adam Yauch, one-third of the pioneering hip-hop group the Beastie Boys has died at 47. We take a moment to remember the rapper known as MCA.

Since forming a decade ago in Austin as a more contemplative offshoot of the indie-rock band Okkervil River, Shearwater has used harps, glockenspiels, and singer Jonathan Meiburg's delicate falsetto to construct expansive concept albums about man's relationship to nature. Now, with their eighth studio album Animal Joy, the band strips down and amps up the energy for a more rock-oriented sound. Shearwater returns to our studio to play live.
