Filmmaker Jonathan Demme's latest film focuses on the life of musician Enzo Avitabile.
Tonight on Soundcheck: Filmmaker Jonathan Demme is perhaps best known for Silence Of The Lambs and Rachel Getting Married, as well as the classic Talking Heads concert film Stop Making Sense. But he's back with a new music documentary about relatively unknown Italian saxophonist Enzo Avitabile.

DeLeon Offers A Lesson In Ladino 101
The band DeLeon is helping keep the endangered dialect of "Ladino" alive with its modern interpretations of Sephardic Jewish songs, found on their latest album, Tremor Fantasma. We hear a live performance in our studio.
