Five years ago, Val Haller, a suburban mom living outside of Chicago, started a music web site called Val’s List, to help baby boomers navigate today’s sprawling musical landscape – and, to help younger listeners discover the sounds of yesteryear. Haller explains how she matches up the vintage sounds of yesterday’s groups with the buzzworthy bands of today.

John, The Dave Mason song is "Only You Know and I Know" and it was released in 1970. I bring this up only because the early seventies were more like the sixties than the later seventies. This was one of many fine songs from that time. Trust me, young feller.
