Band Of Horses' Ben Bridwell performs in the Soundcheck studio.

Band Of Horses appeal to fans of classic rock -- and to fans of facial hair. The group might just be the Second Best Bearded Band in Rock -- after ZZ Top, course. After earning a Grammy nomination for their 2010 album, Infinite Arms, the group has recently released its follow-up, Mirage Rock. The record was produced by Glyn Johns, the Hall of Fame producer who helped define the sound of classic rock with the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and many others. Band Of Horses stopped by the Soundcheck studio to play new songs from the album and submit to host John Schaefer's extremely difficult trivia challenge.
Set List:
John asked Band Of Horses these three trivia questions. Post your answers in the comments section. (No fair using Google.)
1. In 1964 on which show did the Beatles make their first U.S. television appearance?
2. In the National Baseball Hall of Fame's museum, two men who never set foot on a baseball field are featured prominently. What are their names?
3. There is enough stone in the Great Pyramid of Egypt to build a six-foot high wall around: a) Central Park, b) New York City, c) New York State, or d) France?

Your second trivia question - two guys forever linked to baseball, but who had never been to a baseball game (or at least that's how I heard the question) - YOUR answer was Abbott & Costello. A good answer. It could have also been, however, those two guys who wrote 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game'.
