A lot of people try to do the whole moody post-punk thing. Some succeed, some sound like they're trying too hard. With world music influences and just the right amount of darkness, Takka Takka pulls it off beautifully. A combination of folksy song writing, tribal percussion and Asian strings make "Silence" haunting, and beautiful.
