Born out of vocalist and guitarist Peter Silberman's self-imposed isolation in Brooklyn, the Antlers (literally) grew to be one of the most talked-about indie rock bands of this year. Silberman started recording the band's critically acclaimed album Hospice on his own, but later recruited drummer Michael Lerner and multi-instrumentalist Darby Cicci to help him, and the lineup became permanent. Following the album's release last spring, the Antlers quickly attracted indie rock fans with their folky, chamber-pop sound, heard in songs like "Two."
