Often when we think of singer/songwriters, notions of certain conventional, melodic songs pop into our heads. With her experimental, anti-folk sound, artist Diane Cluck is turning the idea of the traditional singer/songwriter upside down. On this track, Cluck pairs the steady pluck of her guitar with stormy, rumbling percussion while singing with the kind of earnestness associated with classic folk.
