In the 10 years since Eric Krasno and brothers Alan and Neal Evans formed the funk/jazz outfit Soulive in Buffalo, NY, the band has received the musical seal of approval several times over. Not only have the members recorded albums with both Blue Note and Stax, they've also performed with music legends such as Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder and the brilliant hip-hop artist Talib Kweli. On this track, the band shows off their soulful chops with a super funky, socially conscious jam about spreading the wealth featuring a tight horn section and holy spirit vocals from special guest Nigel Hall.
