On her newest album, jazz vocalist Gretchen Parlato, covers songs by a wide range of music legends such as Stevie Wonder, Duke Ellington and Herbie Hancock while also offering up some of her own impressive compositions. The Wonder-esque track “Turning Into Blue” is one of these original tunes. Parlato vocally glides through this mysterious and beautiful song, which features a memorable solo by pianist Aaron Parks.
