The members of the European indie experimental rock trio Passe Montagne actually live in two different countries, but that doesn't stop them from getting together to turn out hard, unconventional, instrumental rock. French-based guitarists Gilles Montaufray and Samuel Cochetel and drummer Julien Fernandez, who resides in Italy, got together last year to record their third studio album, the newly-released Oh My Satan. On "Lowcost Deluxe," the band mixes power trio dynamism with avant-garde sensibility.
