Sebastian Blanck spent his college days playing in the band Black Dice while studying painting at the Rhode Island School of Design in the late '90s. But after graduation, he turned his full attention to art. A decade later, with a painting career in full swing, Blanck was inspired to pursue music again when the death of his brother left him emotionally and creatively charged. The result of this tragic impetus is Alibi Coast, Blanck's personal and promising debut album. On this track, Blanck shows off both his talent for weighty songwriting and layered, lush folk.
