The list of artists that drummer Jeff "Tain" Watts has worked with reads like a record of who's who in the jazz world and includes Michael Brecker, Kenny Garrett and both of the Marsalis brothers. So, it's no surprise that for this 2009 effort, Watts tapped bigwigs Christian McBride, Terence Blanchard and Branford Marsalis to be part of his quartet. This track's virtuosic performances and wild energy possesses all the power one would expect from such an impressive group.
