What began as a solo project creating ambient music for art shows has grown into a full-fledged career for Ramona Gonzalez, a.k.a. Nite Jewel. Since releasing her debut album in 2008, Gonzalez has gotten quite a bit of buzz for her dreamy, vintage synth soundscapes. For her new release, Am I Real?, Gonzalez and her band will play a special in-store set tonight at Other Music. Atmospheric and easy, the E.P.'s title track smolders with lo-fi nocturnal groove.
