Tonight, Growing performs at Walter Reade Theater as part of UbuWeb Mix, an evening of film and music presented by WFMU Radio and the experimental art site UbuWeb. It's an event that should suit the noise trio, who released its glitchy, electro-avant-garde album Pumps! this past spring. Earlier this summer, the duo Partytime dropped "Short Circuit (Partytime) Remix" of the Pumps! "Short Circuit," which reworks the original cut into a bubbly club track.
