This evening's performance at the Stone brings together three generations of avant-gardists. Longtime electronic experimentalist Tom Hamilton and noted noise artist Al Margolis (a.k.a. If, Bwana) join up with the youngish, radical vocal improviser known as id m theft able. On this track, Hamilton and Margolis collaborate on a piece with a very different vocal guest: LaFolia.com editor and writer Mike Silverton. Silverton coolly reads original, surreal prose over Hamilton and Margolis' stark, otherworldly accompaniment.
