Singer and pianist Eden Brent studied her craft at the foot of the blues pioneer Boogaloo Ames, developing a husky, warm vocal style and rootsy piano chops that have won her numerous awards and fans. Next month, she'll release her sophomore effort, Ain't Got No Troubles. The album's freewheeling title cut showcases Brent's charming rasp and soulful skills on the ivories.
