The music of Brooklyn vocalist Xenia Rubinos is like some brilliant mash-up of Stereolab, Os Mutantes and the best tunes from Sesame Street. On this track from her EP Elephant, Rubinos blends nursery-rhyme-esque lyricism with quirky, polyrhythmic funkiness.
