She’s a Korean cellist who has worked with multimedia artist Christian Marclay and Sonic Youth frontman Thurston Moore. He’s a Queens-based trumpet player hailed by the American Music Center as one of the best of his generation. This improvised duet was recorded live at a performance in Austria last fall, and flaunts the two musicians’ shared passion for frenetic, atonal experimentation.
