Since releasing their 2008 LP, Michael Coomers and Curtis O'Mara of the Austin-based band Harlem have charmed Austinites, signed a worldwide, multi-record deal with Matador, and expanded their garage rock duo to a trio with the addition of bassist Jose Boyer. The rollicking threesome are set to release their new album Hippies this spring, and it seems they retained all of the fun, red-blooded rockiness present on their first album. On this track from their forthcoming record, Harlem roll through a catchy tune propelled by restless guitar and antsy vocals.
