Electronic pop trio Lemonade was borne out of a trip to Barcelona, during which Alex Pasternak and Callan Clendenin spent the majority of their time lying on the beach and dancing at raves 'til dawn. When they returned to their then-home in San Francisco (the band is now based in Brooklyn), they teamed up with Ben Steidel to make house-influenced, island-inspired pop as Lemonade. On "Lifted," the band evokes the vibe of a sunny coastal holiday with flirty steel drum and playful finger piano.
