Ever wonder what would happen if a Jamaican-born, Brooklyn-raised MC and a Russian expat producer formed a hip-hop group? The answer is the D.C.-based rap duo Fly Gypsy, who in their short time together (the group just formed last summer) have lit up the blogosphere and forced MTVu and VH1 Soul to take notice. On "2 Step," rapper Kowboy Kom and producer Alexei serve up a solid, catchy, and irresistibly charming hip-hop love song.
