Heavy metal band Acrassicauda began in a basement in Baghdad in the early '00s. But the four members of the group went from being musicians to political refugees after the Iraq war began, first fleeing to Syria and then to Turkey. Along the way, the band's story became the subject of the 2007 documentary "Heavy Metal in Baghdad." The band members settled stateside last year and are set to drop their first American release next month. On this track, the quartet plow through a ferocious tune that combines classic heavy metal with Iraqi musical influences.
