Many people know soulful DIYer Georgia Anne Muldrow and rapper/singer Declaime (a.k.a. Dudley Perkins) for their individual musical pursuits. But these socially conscious artists (who are also husband and wife) have frequently collaborated on projects for years. On their just-released album SomeOthaShip, the duo team up again. On "Heaven or Hell," Muldrow and Perkins join forces with underground rappers Black Milk and LMNO and veteran emcee Kool G Rap to produce a tripped-out track that bounces between gangsta rap and political rhymes.
