Following the sudden death of his father, Dragons of Zynth and Shock Cinema member Autry Fulbright decided to start a new band to help him cope with his loss. After tapping Jason Reece of ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead and a few other frequent collaborators, Fulbright formed the dreamy and ruminative Midnight Masses. On this track from their recent EP, Fulbright leads a forlorn yet hopeful chorus in a rock-tinged spiritual which features vocals from TV on the Radio drummer Jaleel Bunton.
