Electronic experimentalist Daniel Lopatin, aka Oneohtrix Point Never, will be heading up a show Sunday night which will spotlight artists on his avant-garde Upstairs CD-R label. It should surprise no one who's familiar with Lopatin's left-field ambient sound that the forward-thinking musician runs a label specializing in progressive music. On this track from his last release, the three-disc compilation Rifts, Lopatin courses through a cascade of synths in a piece that tips it hat to sci-fi film scores.
