Lucky Dragons operates more as a concept than as a band. The work of Luke Fischbeck and Sarah Rara is all over the place sonically, but they claim to adhere to a guiding purpose: connection, to and between audience members. They use the phrase “equal power situations” to describe what they hope manifests during their shows. That's not to say the music isn't entertaining. Most songs are made up of catchy samples and found sounds, and can veer off in many directions. "Power Melody" incorporates flutes and bongo drum beats to create a trance-inducing sci-fi drum circle.
