Alex Bleeker and the Freaks is actually composed of three members from the group Real Estate and fellow Garden State musician Julian Lynch. Despite the familiar lineup, Alex Bleeker and the Freaks are much more visceral than Real Estate. Bleeker goes from Real Estate bassist to Freaks frontman on this Neil Young-esque cover of a Mountain Man song, singing in a haunting falsetto over bluesy, folky guitar.
