Many have come to know flutist Dave Valentin as a fusion-happy crossover jazz artist, taking music cues from the pop, R&B and Latin jazz worlds. But on this track, Valentin fully immerses himself in the Latin jazz sound, offering up his energetic, Afro-Cuban take on the tune made famous by Frank Sinatra. Valentin's bouncy flute pairs nicely with a tight rhythm section that features a spot on performance by pianist Bill O'Connell.
