This weekend the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival wraps up with a closing night concert featuring legendary hip-hop trio De La Soul. Since they first emerged over 20 years ago, the threesome have gone from being hailed as the future of hip-hop to being regarded as rap icons. Last year the crew partnered with Nike to produce Are You In?, an album of brand new songs sewn in a continuous mix designed to be listened to while running. This track evolves from a bare bones blend of rhyme and driving beat into a clever, layered anthem.
NOTE: This song contains explicit lyrics.
