The Seattle-based group Ivan & Alyosha take their band name from the great Fyodor Dostoyevsky work The Brothers Karamazov and their musical inspiration from vintage folk-pop. Core band members Tim Wilson and Ryan Carbary formed the group back in 2007, but it wasn't until they released their 2009 EP The Verse, the Chorus and played this year"s SXSW festival that the band began to gain traction. This track from the EP shows off Wilson's fetching voice and the band's knack for bare, simple, charming pop.
