Singer Nicole Simone has long had a thing for the music of the '20s, '30s, and '40s, and it shows. On this track from her self-titled EP, the chanteuse draws from the vintage style of those eras to develop her own sultry sound. Backed by muffled horn and subtle piano, Simone sings with a classic coquettishness that sounds more suited for a 1930s speakeasy than a 21st century club.
