A former choirgirl and an experienced musical theater performer, singer Kelley Suttenfield has been singing her whole life. But it wasn't until she was an adult that she discovered her love and talent for singing jazz. Since then she's moved from her native Virginia to New York to immerse herself in the jazz scene, and last fall she released her debut album of standards. On this track, Suttenfield smolders with a mellifluous melancholy while her backing band smokes right along with her.
