Brooklyn's Apache Beat has gotten props from both fans and fellow music-makers -- such as the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and MGMT -- for their take on post-punk. They released the original version of "Your Powers Are Magic," the first single from their forthcoming full-length debut, last September, and since then a few electronic outfits have offered up remixes of the track. This remix by the Emergency takes the tribal energy of the single and treats it with alluring club groove. Tonight, Apache Beat open up for the Danish alt-pop duo the Asteroids Galaxy Tour.
