TriBeCaStan cohorts Jeff Greene and John Kruth bring new meaning to the phrase "think globally, act locally." Based in New York, the incredibly eclectic multi-instrumentalists revel in creating world music mash-ups, taking their inspiration from everything from West African rhythms and Afghani folk tunes to American surf rock and avant-garde jazz. On their newest album, 5 Star Cave, the duo is joined by a number of guests who flesh out TriBeCaStan's transcontinental sound. Guitarist Hara Garacci makes an appearance on this spirited gypsy jazz style track.
