Digital textures, live instrumentation, samples and remixes. Kieran Hebden, a.k.a. Four Tet, is a conductor of these. The London native notably layers fresh beats in other artist’s works including Aphex Twin, Black Sabbath, Anti-Pop Consortium, Juana Molina, Andrew Bird and Radiohead.
As of late, Hebden’s been collaborating with the electronic musician Burial, Thom Yorke of Radiohead, and has been selected to perform at this year’s All Tomorrow's Parties "Nightmare Before Christmas" festival in Minehead, England. He was hand-picked by festival curator Daniel Snaith, the composer, musician and recording artist behind the moniker Caribou. And it is Four Tet’s remix of the Caribou track “Angel Echoes” that we have available for download. It comes from his 2010 release There Is Love in You.
Check it out or watch the video below for a 2007 live improvisational performance of the song "Brain" with the late New York City jazz drummer Steve Reid.

Think you got that backward--"Angel Echoes" is a Four Tet track that Caribou remixed.
Have ya’ll heard of the artist Pete RG?! If not you’re definitely missing out on a great folk/Americana singer! His music reminds me of a mix between Andrew Bird and David Gray. You can get a FREE download of his song “Baby Steps” http://babystepspeterg.viinyl.com/ Let me know what you think!
