Dozy and dreamy. That sums up the aptly named new single “Bedbedbedbedbed” by the Washington D.C. band Deleted Scenes. The tune comes off of the four-piece outfit’s second album Young People’s Church of the Air, which is due out in September. The record was the band’s first foray into a proper studio — they traveled just north of home to record at the Garden Center studios in Delaware. But the D.I.Y. vibe is not all lost on the band's upcoming album: it contains a healthy mixture of ethereal sounds crafted in the studio and home-recorded lo-fi noise.
