It hasn’t taken long for composer and guitarist Rafiq Bhatia to establish a reputation as a cutting edge figure on the jazz scene. The son of East African parents of Indian descent, he was born and raised in North Carolina. But he went all the way to Iceland to record his new full-length album, Yes It Will -- as well as a new EP called Strata.
