Nouvelle Vague
"Ever Fallen In Love"
Playing on Thursday at Irving Plaza

Get: Tickets ($28) | Directions

The idea of a successful cover band may sound like an oxymoron, but Nouvelle Vague has made it a reality. The French group performs female-sung, bossa nova covers of all sorts of songs, and they have a particular fondness for 80s new wave and post punk music.

Download Nouvelle Vague's version of the Buzzcocks’ “Ever Fallen in Love” here, and watch them play Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart" below. Nouvelle Vague plays at Irving Plaza Thursday night.
