Katie Stelmanis trained for a career in opera from a young age. But then, the Canadian singer discovered punk rock and industrial music. These multiple influences come together nicely in her atmospheric electro band, Austra.

Great music! But I mean that literally, I love the music but the vocals are not quite to my taste. I'd buy their album if it was instrumental or if the vocals were turned way down. Right now they feel overpowering and actually hurt my ears at a volume level that was satisfactory to hear the music. Even at 50% of their current level they would be plenty audible but feel more in balance with the music.
Maybe you can have a special instrumental version of the album for download?
