Brooklyn band Psychic Ills certainly weren’t afraid of an extended jam session of their first albums...but then again that’s standard operating procedure for a psychedelic band. Their new material is scaled-back, gritty rock and roll.
Their forthcoming album One Track Mind (out February 13th) figures to continue the band's reptilian-like shedding of layers, if today's download is any indication. "Might Take A While" keeps things basic instrumentally, instead relying on a slow, swampy feel completely appropriate for the song itself.
